Jää on tahke vesi. Kui oled otsustanud minna jääle siis tee seda kindlas veendumuses, et jää sind kannab. Helista sõbrale ja kutsu ta kaasa. Kahekesi on kindlam ja abi lähemal. Võta kaasa jäänaelad ja pane saabastele jääkassid. Veendu enne jää paksuses. Jääpurjetajad teavad, et jääpurjetamine on ohtlik spordiala ja see nõuab kainet ja külma pead. Hoia pea külmana!!!

BOBCO 2009 lõppes - BBOC 2009 algamas

24-25.oktoober toimusid Belgias Ostendes Belgian Open Blokart Cup - BOBCO 2009 võistlused. Osales 83 maapurjetajat erinevatest Euroopa maadest. Kohal oli ka Leedu Blokart Team koosseisus  Rytis Slatkevičius (EM 2009 kuld) ja Matas Mizgiris (EM 2009 hõbe). Heades oludes peeti enamus klassides 5 starti. Tihedas konkurentsis saavutas Rytis Slatkevičius kergkaalus klassis Standard teise koha ja Matas Mizgiris keskkaalus klassis Standard 7 koha. Estonian Blokart Teamil ei olnud kahjuks võimalust BOBCO2009 osaleda. EBT järgmine võistlus toimub Leedus Nidas kus peetakse kolmandat korda Baltic Blokart Open Cup 2009. BBOC 2008 saavutas Estonian Blokart Team meeskondlikus arvestuses esimese koha. 2007 aastal toodi Eestisse raskekaalus klassis Standard esimene ja kolmas koht.

Esimene Blokart online ajakiri on ilmunud

Esimene Blokart online ajakiri "10 bft" on näinud ilmavalgust. Ajakiri on saadaval inglise ja saksa keeles. Esimeses numbris : Euroopa Blokart Open 2009 pikk ja põhjalik ülevaade. Samuti leiad Triggernaut sportprillide x-treame testide tulemused. Laadi ajakiri alla siit

Laupäeva Blokart Pirita teel

Laupäeval paistis päike ja kella kahest puhus ka mõnus 6-7m/s läänekas. Kimasime Rauliga Pirita teele ja tegime mõnusad pikad otsad Piritalt Russalkani. Kiiruseks saime 45 km/h . Kokku 3 h. Oli väga hea päev.

II blokart Spanish Open

The following December 12th and 13th will be the “II blokart Spanish Open” in Valencia.  We will use the valencian urban track for the next Spanish Open. The track is a 200x80 builded with the same asphalt as used for the F1 circuit, the track is placed at North of the Valencia’s port. Lodging will be at the great “Petxina” Sport Residence. Shuttle from airport to residence (if you will come by train we will look for you too). Shuttle from residence to the track (15 min.)The blokarts can stay at the track keeped during the nights of 11th to 12nd and 12nd to 13th.

The Sport Council can made personal insurance for the event to those pilots who hasn’t insurance.

We will organize the Open like last year:

-3 weight categories.

-Share a blokart with other two pilots.

-All in Production class.

Ivanpah Blokart Open and Rally, March 26 - April 1, 2010

The committee has been busy working on the 2010 event to make it more exciting and participatory than past years. We are organizing more RALLY events and they will be a big part of the event. The program is being set up with every other day being a rally or racing day. We are looking to get more new blokarters involved in the activities this year by having some low key events. I know all of these events will turn into a race for some people, because most people are always trying to pass the person in front of them, but anyone can participate at there own comfortable pace.

Pass the word about the event and remember last years commitment by every one who attended was to bring a other blokarter or friends even if they don't have a blokart to share the excitement with. They will want one when they leave.

If you have some ideas for something to add to the event please let us know.
